A warm and comfy piece, perfect for layering, casually or dressed up. Sizes XS-5XL (bust measurement 28-62 in/71-157.5 cm). Shown in Patons Bohemian Artistic Taupes (#11013) knit using size 8 mm (U.S. 11) needles.

Patons Bohemian (80 g/2.8 oz)
4 (4-5-5-6-6) balls of #11013 (Artistic Taupes)

Size 8 mm (U.S. 11) knitting needles or size needed to obtain tension. 3 st holders.

TENSION: 8 sts and 14 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in stocking st.

INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions are written for smallest size. If changes are necessary for larger sizes the instructions will be written thus ( ).
Note: Vest is worked in one piece to armholes.

Cast on 73 (81-89-97-105-121) sts.
1st row: (RS). K1. *P1. K1. Rep from * to end of row.
2nd row: P1. *K1. P1. Rep from * to end of row.
Rep last 2 rows of (K1. P1) ribbing until work from beg measures 10 (10-10�-11-11-12) ins [25.5 (25.5-26.5-28-28-30.5) cm], ending with RS facing for next row. Place markers at each end of last row.

Divide for Fronts and Back: Next row: Rib across 16 (18-20-22-24-28) sts. Cast off next 6 (6-6-6-8-10) sts. Rib across 29 (33-37-41-41-45) sts (including st after cast off). Cast off next 6 (6-6-6-8-10) sts. Rib to end of row.
Cont even on last 16 (18-20-22-24-28) sts for Left Front until armhole measures 8 (8�-9-10-10�-11) ins [20.5 (21.5-23-25.5-26.5-28) cm], ending with RS facing for next row.

Shoulder: Cast off 6 (6-6-8-8-8) sts. Rib to end of row. Leave rem 10 (12-14-14-16-20) sts on a st holder. Break yarn.
With WS facing, join yarn and work across next 29 (33-37-41-41-45) sts from spare needle for Back. Turn. Leave rem sts on a spare needle.
Cont even until armhole measures same length as Left Front to shoulder, ending with RS facing for next row.

Shoulders: Cast off 6 (6-6-8-8-8) sts beg next 2 rows. Leave rem 17 (21-25-25-25-29) sts on a st holder. Break yarn.
With WS facing, join yarn and work across last 16 (18-20-22-24-28) sts from spare needle for Right Front.
Cont even until armhole measures same length as Left Front, ending with WS facing for next row.

Shoulder: Cast off 6 (6-6-8-8-8) sts. Rib to end of row. Leave rem sts on a st holder. Do not break yarn.

COLLAR
Sew shoulder seams. With RS of work facing, rib 10 (12-14-14-16-20) sts from right front st holder. Rib 17 (21-25-25-25-29) sts from Back st holder and 10 (12-14-14-16-20) sts from left front st holder. 37 (45-53-53-57-69) sts.
Cont in (K1. P1) ribbing as given for body until Collar measures 8 ins [20.5 cm], ending with RS facing for next row. Cast off in ribbing.

FINISHING
Ties (make 2). Cast on 25 sts. Cast off. Sew ties to Front edges at markers
