Divine - Throw (knit)

Soft and comfy throw, perfect for curling up and relaxing. Measures approx. 45" x 60.5" (114.5 x 153.5 cm). Shown in Patons Divine #6117 Denim Storm. 8 mm (US 11) circular knitting needle.

Size 8 mm (U.S. 11) circular knitting needle 36 ins [90 cm] long or size needed to obtain tension.

Tension
9 sts and 12 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in stocking st.

Instructions
Note: Throw is reversible; there is no RS or WS.

Cast on 100 sts loosely. Do not join. Work back and forth across needle in rows.
Knit 2 rows.
Proceed as follows:
1st to 6th rows: Beg with knit row, work in stocking st.
7th and 8th rows: Knit.
9th row: *K1, wrapping yarn twice around needle. Rep from * to end of row.
10th row: *K1, dropping extra loop made in previous row. Rep from * to end of row.
11th row: Knit.
12th row: As 9th row.
13th row: As 10th row.
Rep last 13 rows 13 times more.
Knit 2 rows. Cast off loosely.

Tassel: (make 4). Cut a piece of cardboard 6 ins [15 cm] wide. Wind yarn around cardboard 30 times. Break yarn leaving a long end and thread end through a needle. Slip needle through all loops and tie tightly. Remove cardboard and wind yarn tightly around loops � inch [2 cm] below fold. Fasten securely. Cut through rem loops and trim ends evenly. Sew tassels at each corner of Throw.
