Expand you knitting reportiore and learn new techniques in this sock class. Sock makers will learn the skills of picking up stitches, as well as, shaping the heel, instep and toe. This class is suitable for a beginner sock knitter as adding colourwork in a spooky design to the top of the sock is optional.

DATES

This course is spread over three (3) classes:

Class 1: Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 6:30-8:30 pm 

Class 2: Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 6:30-8:30 pm 

Class 3: Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 6:30-8:30 pm 

Note: Additional help can always be offered during regular shop hours!

MATERIALS

All class participants enjoy an in-store discount on class supplies.  Participants will need to bring the following supplies:

• 2.25 -2.75mm double pointed needles 
• 100g Fingering weight yarn(#1) such as Opal or GEM Sock Plus. Approx. 50g of C1 yarn (orange), approx. 50g of C2 yarn (black)
• Darning needle
• Scissors
