This is a beginner level class.  Participants will learn how to chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet and seaming. This class will also include learning how to sew a zipper into the bag opening.

DATES

This course is spread over three (3) classes:

Class 1: Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 6:30-8:30 pm 

Class 2: Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 6:30-8:30 pm 

Class 3: Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 6:30-8:30 pm 

Note: Additional help can always be offered during regular shop hours!

MATERIALS

All class participants enjoy an in-store discount on class supplies.  Participants will need to bring the following supplies:

• US E 4/3.5 mm crochet hook
• Worsted weight yarn (#4).  You will need 150 grams of yarn or ~220 yards (cotton preferred) in total; you can decide on the number of different colours. Great for using up scraps!
• Darning needle
• Scissors
