This intermediate crochet class will walk students through the process of creating a teddy bear that will be approximately 12” tall when standing. The following techniques will be explored in this class will include: chain (Ch), slip stitch (Sl s), single crochet (SC), single crochet decrease (SCD), half double crochet (HDC), double crochet (DC), and magic ring (MR).

DATES:

This course is spread over three (3) classes:

• Class 1: Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 10 am-12 pm 
• Class 2: Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 10 am-12 pm 
• Class 3: Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 10 am-12 pm 

Note: Additional help can always be offered during regular shop hours!

MATERIALS

All class participants enjoy a 10% in-store discount on class supplies.  Participants will need to bring the following supplies:

•  4.0 mm (U.S. G/6) crochet hook
• #3 DK (Light) yarn, cotton or cotton blend preferred.  ~250 yards of main colour, scrap amounts of yarn in white and black for face + feet detailing.
• Scissors
• Stitch Marker (optional)
• Poly-fil stuffing
• Plastic safety eyes
• Ribbon for bowtie (optional)
